A personal journey through your chakras and energy channels to help you discover a powerful form of self-healing and holistic alignment. The course begins with an introductory session followed by a further seven sessions spread over four months. It is important to have time in between each session to fully absorb and practice the methods taught. This is beneficial in balancing each chakra, as we work from the base to the crown. This day with Trish Nugent to explore this theme throughout the day with different activities. There will discussions, mindful practice, creative play and opportunities to absorb these teachings, leaving you with tools to take away. Arrive from 9 with the group session beginning at 9:30. Includes a plant inspired lunch and snacks. The teachings and practices will end around 3pm with a chance to relax until 4pm or leave when you need to
Heart healing and the journey to the Self
Come and explore the idea of the Self through yoga with Julie Cooper. Find quiet space and relaxation throughout the day to tune into you. Enjoy a plant powered lunch around our acorn table. Spend the afternoon nurturing your Self in the wellness bud with heat facilities, book a massage or enjoy the calmness of the hidden corners of The Acorn. Please book the treatment before checking out to secure your place. The day runs from 9-4pm with Yoga 9:30-11. We provide robes and towels.
Mindfulness practice can be life-changing and beneficial on so many health and wellbeing levels. This course is based on the Mindfulness Association’s 8-week MBLC ‘Mindfulness Based Living Course’ and is their Level 1 in Mindfulness Training. An evidence and experientially based route to embedding a skilled Mindfulness practice.

A whole weekend of nourishment. Spend a night at The Acorn with Georgina, practicing yoga, restoring, cosying up warm and eating delicious food.
The weekend will include three yoga classes, plus an optional backbending workshop. Three whole food meals will be provided, plus snacks. With time to rest and relax.

This special, one day festival aims to create a space to meet new people, try new things, step out of your comfort zone and learn about how the community you surround yourself with can affect, and improve, your physical and mental health.
Our Yoga Hero instructors, and some very special guests, will come together to make this a fun, educational day to remember, including a body positive yoga workshop, learning about intuitive wellness, movement, mindfulness, some daft things and a few wonderful surprises!

The Summer is a wonderful time to join us for our longest retreat here at the centre. As well as exploring yoga, meditation and Ayurveda you will also have enough free time to simply relax in our beautiful gardens or visit the elegant spa town of Harrogate or visit some of the local attractions and beautiful N.Yorkshire country side.
